The YNJX400 Planetary Clamping Bucking Unit is a professional hydraulic bucking machine designed for precision make-up and break-out of oilfield casing, tubing, and downhole tools (such as packers and jars). It supports pipe O.D. 139–340mm (5‑1/2" to 13‑3/8") and delivers a maximum torque of 68 kN·m (50,154 ft·lb) at 25MPa. Equipped with Siemens S7‑1200 PLC and 15" industrial computer, it ensures accurate torque and turns monitoring, automatic operation, and stable performance. Adopting three-point synchronous planetary clamping structure, this casing downhole tools bucking machine provides high clamping force without slipping, and within the range of Φ139mm–Φ340mm, no die change is required. Optional non-marking dies are available for chrome and premium threads. Widely used in oilfield downhole tool assembly, casing and tubing production and repair lines. Custom solutions available.

I. YNJX400 Planetary Clamping Bucking Unit Structures and Features

The YNJX400/68 planetary clamping bucking machine is primarily used in oilfields for make-up and break-out operations of downhole tools, threaded connections, casing, drill pipes, tubing, and other threaded components during manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance. It features high torque and smooth transmission. The machine has features of large torque, large clamping force, reliability and no slipping, four clamping point and no need to change the teeth in ¢139mm-¢340mm.


YNJX-400/68 High-Torque Hydraulic Bucking Machine

The YNJX-400/68 hydraulic bucking machine features a split-structure design, specifically developed for assembling and disassembling various downhole tools in oilfields, such as different types of packers and jar tools. The design allows operators to conveniently operate the equipment on the machine bed platform. The hydraulic power unit is separated from the main body, making it easier to clean the oil tank, reduce noise, and improve oil cooling efficiency. The cooling system adopts an air-cooled cooler.


Power Tong Assembly

The power tong is used for clamping and rotate the couplings of the workpiece. It is driven by hydraulic motor, the working principle is as following:

1) The speed change mechanism and gear transmission mechanism make the internal gear ring rotate, and the internal planet gear rotate to make the planetary claw clamp the coupling.

2) This kind of clamping structure has features of big torque, big clamping force, reliability and no slipping, three clamping point and no need to change the teeth in 139mm-340mm.

3) For large torque, all gears are weighted gear to increase the strength of the gear and make sure the strength and reliability of the bucking machine.

4) The friction tape braking of power tong has features of long service life, easy replacement, and low cost, etc.


Backup Tong Assembly

The backup tong is used to fix the pipe in working to make sure no pipe slipping. It is driven by cylinder. The backup trolly can move along the machine bed freely, which is driven by chain. A load sensor is equipped on the backup tong to record the working torque and send the information to computer,The PLC+industry computer can collect and manage data, control the bucking machine automatically. The advanced process control system provides dynamic display, torque & circle real time curves, historical data, and report printing in the order of day, month and group.
